Semester Objectives
Continue building on core Arabic grammar and vocabulary.
Expand knowledge of Arabic grammar application through study of Sharḥ Mi'at ʿĀmil.
Study of weak lettered verbs.
Apply knowledge of grammatical rules and verbal forms through guided reading of Qasasun Nabiyyeen (Stories of the Prophets).
Learn Adaab and Akhlaaq through reading of Ahadith from the book Zaadut Taalibeen.
Term 1
The book Zanjaani or otherwise known as Tasreef Al-Izzi reinforces the verb forms learned in Sarf Meezan and Al-Ajnaas from Semester 1 and introduces students to weak lettered verbs.
The book Qasasun Nabiyyeen Part 1 (Stories of the Prophets) provides guided reading practice to apply the grammatical rules and verb forms learned so far.
These 2 books are studied to build a good foundation in Arabic grammar and verb conjugation before moving to more advanced books in later semesters. In Shaa Allah.

Term 2
The book Sharḥ Mi`at ʿĀmil expands on the book Al-Awaamil studied in Semester 1 to further deepen the understanding of Arabic grammar application.
Through study of Ahadith from the book Zadut Taalibeen, students learn Adaab and Akhlaaq while applying their knowledge of grammar and verb forms in context.
At the end of term 2, students would have covered most of the important grammatical rules and verb forms needed to read and understand basic Arabic texts. In Shaa Allah.
